Zoobilee Zoo!

So... Last weekend, we decided to go to the zoo. It's what people with kids in Louisville do, and now we are those people. So Clay took hundreds of absolutely fabulous pictures of all the animals. And I'm SO glad he did! But I figure you're probably not here to see the Louisville Zoo's animals. If you're interested, please go there and see them!! But if you're reading this blog, you're probably more interested in that animal that lives in our house.
So here are a few pictures from the new Lila exhibit.
It's a pretty adventurous animal, so you have to be patient and have a steady hand to get a good picture.
Luckily, this wild animal is often kept behind bars!
Watch out, it's coming right for you!!
This animal emits high-pitched shrieks when excited.
It seems to be very excited, indeed!
2 out of 2 giraffes agree, this new exhibit is quite unusual!
Whew...luckily, the animal has been contained, and can be returned to it's natural environment!
