12 Stresses of the Holidays

Throughout the holiday, my sanity survived,
12 dozen baked goods
11 presents wrapped up
10 embroidered gifts
9 sleepless nights
8 sticks of butter
7 loads of laundry
6 loads of dishes
5 CHRISTMAS PARTIEEEES
4 dinners with friends
3 Christmas brunches
2 worn out nephews
And one nervous breakdown full of tears!

I've almost survived now. We're on the downhill run to the New Year's Eve party, then I might hibernate for a month or two.

Yep ... I'm stressed just reading about your stresses! As much as I love the holidays, it sure is nice to get back to normal (whatever that is!). Enjoy your New Year's Eve Party ... I know it will be fun.
Happy New Year!

Sure glad you survived the 12 Stresses of the Holidays. I almost didn't make it just reading about yours. The holidays were wonderful. Loved every min. of them but the clean-up afterward was my down fall and I made sure Papa went with me Ha. Now that it is all put away for another year I'm ready to go again. I will have to drag Papa kicking and screaming though. We had a great dinner with your Mom an Dad New Years day. The kick back with the boys and Grandmamma & Granddaddy was a lot of fun too. Happy New Year to you and that lovable Clay of yours. Hugs
